Public Domain Project

The Public Domain Project is a open-minded (open to all persons) project for the conservation and utilization of Public Domain music and film material (including Silent film). It consists of the following projects:
  • The Public Domain Wiki, a free music encyclopedia that represent the full inventory of the Public Domain Pool includes all known information about a musical work.
The Public Domain Project need your active participation and support! More information can be found on the Community Portal.

The Edison Disc, also known as a Diamond Disc record, was a type of audio disc record marketed by Edison Records from 1912 to 1929.

V-Disc ("V" for Victory) was a morale-boosting initiative involving the production of several series of recordings during the World War II era by special arrangement between the United States government and various private U.S. record companies. The records were produced for the use of United States military personnel overseas.
